We had just finished watching Game 5 vs LA Kings in Round 1 and were hungry. Kevin and Allison were coming FROM the game (lucky sob’s…grumble) so we picked somewhere close that was still open late, which happened to be Nancy’s.
Chow fan. Fried rice. I swear, Jeff could be Ben‘s son. Without fail, he will always end up ordering fried rice when we go to Chinese restaurants.
At least he ordered something else to share with Caitlin, uh.let me see here..beef with swirled egg on noodles?
While the others will branch out and get other things, such as beef brisket with noodle.
At a place called Wonton house.. you can’t go wrong with ordering their namesake, so I had the Wontons with Noodles. 5 huge wontons are hidden amongst the noodles and were all delicious. Predominantly shrimp with a little bit of pork, they satisfied me immediately. A bonus was that the soup/broth wasn’t salty.
In summary….(ps, thanks Jeff)
1) Neighbourhood restaurant!
2) Good for late night/cheap eats!
3) Wonton noodles!
