Okay, this is part 2 of the Q&A.. click here for Part 1.
How come there aren’t any answers so far????
I was busy over the weekend with dodgeball! Want proof? Here are pictures from VDL Season 8, Tuesday Playoffs and Wednesday Playoffs.
What you won’t eat and/or make you gag?
I haven’t tried anything that has made me gag.. but then again, I know I haven’t tried a lot. Durian is one for example. The smell of it instantly makes me think of garbage, but I’m sure it doesn’t TASTE like garbage..or does it?
Coke or Pepsi?
Coke. Cherry Coke is even better! I’ll settle for a Barqs or a Canada Dry though…oops, getting off topic.
What has been your worst experience in a restaurant after you produce your camera to take pictures?
My only bad experience has been lots of dirty stares.. from a woman when I was at Market by Jean-Georges at the Shangri-La. Never had a problem with anyone, they either give me a funny look, or will ask why I’m taking pictures. I’ll answer honestly as to what I’m taking the pictures for, as I see it as a chance to gain another reader!
Fork and knife, fork and spoon or chopsticks?
As embarrassing as this is, I would rather use a fork & spoon. I can’t hold chopsticks correctly, I hold it like a brush.
I know, shame on me, being Asian and all…Trust me, these videos don’t help….
What got you started with food blogging?
When I started to care about where I ate, and through the power of Google, started reading local foodblogs such as Chow Times, Sherman, KimHo, Foodosophy and others.
A full list of who I read can be seen on sidebar just to the right of this, just mouse over BLOGROLL and a list will drop down.
Among the food bloggers you met in person, who is your favorite and why?
What a dangerous and loaded question, I would not want to incur the wrath of whoever I don’t pick..!
What is the most disgusting meal you had in a restaurant?
As much as I would like to not badmouth restaurants….I have to say Celsius Cafe.
What is the best meal you had in a restaurant?
Another toughy..nothing stands out right now. Sorry!
Lastly, what is that green concoction in the pitcher you’re holding? Is that sour green apple punch with vodka?
It’s a mixture of Minute Maid Limeade and Blueberry Stolichnaya. Try it!
What makes a sushi place a great place to go?
Well, obviously the quality of their food! The fish should not have been out of the water for more than a day, so if your sushi or sashimi has that fishy SMELL..then that’s not a good sign. I actually haven’t been to a lot of sushi restaurants,
Assuming you eat out often enough to review Vancouver restaurants weekly, why don’t you gain weight?!
Must be my fast metabolism.
It’ll catch up to me in the future, I bet.
