Tropika (Aberdeen Centre)

I just had a huge brain fart and forgot to post about this.

After the bloggers dinner at Alvin Garden, I met some friends at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond for the Qoola grand opening.  They arrived before us and were hungry so they went to Tropika, which was coincidentally next to the new location of Qoola

Coming from dinner, I was really full still so I just sat there and took pictures of the food, even though they kept telling me to have some.  I guess I should have, because I realized after when I got home how the heck I was gonna blog about it.  I did take a bite of the roti and a sip of the drink, but that was it.  I guess this will be more of a photo essay than anything.

A drink to share for the two, an interesting and unique bowl.  Adds to the feel and atmosphere of the restaurant.

You’re probably wondering what the heck this is…

Well, it was pina colada. Real pina colada isn’t pink! I think I got a hint of strawberry in this though, so that could be why.

I’ve never had my coconut rice served like that at Tropika! Lucky you! That looks really good.
